Communities you are member of
Your role within communities (member, admin, owner)
Community invitations and responses
Content shared within communities

3.4 Gamification data

Total score and ranking position
Earned CamperCoins
Unlocked achievements and badges
Score history and activities

3.5 Travel logs

Visited locations and routes
Travel notes and memories
Linked photos and experiences

3.6 Technical data

Device information (type, operating system)
IP address and general location data
App version and usage statistics
Crash logs and error reports (via Firebase Crashlytics)
Push notification tokens (FCM)

4. How do we use your data?

Creating and managing your account
Displaying wild camping locations on the map
Facilitating communities and social interactions
Calculating scores, rankings and achievements
Sending push notifications (with your consent)
Improving the app through analytics and crash reporting
Translating user-generated content to your preferred language

5. Legal basis for processing

Community-only locations are only visible to community members
Reviews and ratings are public by default
Your profile name and photo may be visible with your contributions
You can set your profile to private in settings

Preventing fraud or abuse

7. International data transfer

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which use data centers in the European Economic Area (EEA). Some data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

All transfers take place with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Retention period

Active accounts: As long as your account is active
Deleted accounts: 30-day backup period, then permanently deleted
Contributions: Anonymous contributions (locations, reviews) remain after account deletion
Analytics data: Aggregated data is retained for a maximum of 26 months
Crash logs: 90 days

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

You can delete your account at any time through the app settings under "Privacy & Security". Upon deletion:

Your personal data will be permanently deleted
Your photos and profile information will be removed
Your contributions (locations, reviews) will remain anonymously for the community
Your scores and rankings will be deleted
The action is irreversible after the 30-day backup period

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via:

An email to your registered email address
